Offered by Galerie Gilles Linossier
This commode opens by 3 curved rows of drawers made of tainted green ash, sycamore and ornamental plum tree.
Work from the french "Régence" period from Dauphiné.
Because of its rich marquetry, its architecture and the woods used, this commode can be attributed to Pierre Hache (28th december 1703-3rd june 1776).
Its gilt bronze handles are decorated with royal crowns which proves a royal provenance and confirm its attribution to Pierre Hache (Hache dynasty worked for the Orléans family).
