An Anglo-Indian mid 18th century rosewood inlaid writing slope

A fine mid 18th century Anglo-Indian rosewood writing slope inlaid with ivory of foliate designs. Made in India for British market. The top opens to reveal a large unique compartement, the top also opens from the back to reveal three compartments containing inkwells. Hinges and handles are made of sterling silver.
