Etienne Avril 1748-24 June 1791 received Master 23 November 1774, called Avril the Elder, he was established rue de Charenton, at the corner of rue Moreau. He gave up his shop shortly before the French revolution to his younger brother Pierre Avril.
Etienne Avril received commissions for the apartment of Queen Marie Antoinette at Chateau de Saint-Cloud.
