This elegant commode with a slight central projection embodies the elegance and refinement of the Louis XVI period. Crafted in marquetry of precious woods such as satinwood, amaranth, boxwood, and sycamore, it features a marquetry decor on the front depicting fillets, musical instruments, and flowers.
With two drawers without crossbars, its sides are adorned with vases and bouquets of flowers. The flat uprights with simulated columns end in four elegant tapered feet, adding a touch of sophistication. The gilt bronze ornamentation, including keyholes, pull rings, and sabots, enhances its charm. The top is made of Belgian Rance marble with a molded edge, completing this remarkable piece.
