This exquisite 18th-century chandelier, crafted in the Louis XV style, features a gracefully curved structure in mercury-gilded bronze. It is richly adorned with numerous pendants and drops, as well as marguerites, leaves, and rosettes finely cut from rock crystal, designed to capture and reflect light in dazzling displays.
The chandelier’s six candle arms enhance its brilliance, as their flames shimmer against the finely cut stone. Between each arm, a gilded bronze and rock crystal spray adds a distinctive touch of opulence to this magnificent piece.
The central section is composed of successive moldings, alternating rounded and convex forms, creating a harmonious balance. The chandelier is further distinguished by its upper crown, lavishly decorated with intricately carved rock crystal flowers.
Adding to its uniqueness, a few amethysts, cut into delicate marguerite shapes, embellish the area surrounding the central pyramid. The entire composition concludes with an extraordinary oversized rock crystal pear drop, making this chandelier a truly remarkable masterpiece.
