Basket-shaped chandelier with six arms.
Height 80 cm, diameter 60 cm
Porcelain basket with painted garland of flowers framed by cobalt blue borders decorated with friezes of gilded palmettes. Created by the Manufacture Feuillet in Paris (Restoration period)
Six gilded bronze light arms with gadrooned horns adorned with acanthus leaves and ending in flowers topped with bobeches.
The dome is crowned with a bronze crown richly decorated with frieze of florets on a background of foliage, surmounted by a frieze of bunches of grapes and vine leaves interlaced in crossed ogives.
The chandelier is supported by three chains adorned with palmettes attached to the central crown by three acanthus leaf consoles from which swan necks and heads emerge. The three chains join an upper crown adorned with protruding palmettes.
