A Tokyo school ivory okimono depicting a Sennin with a scroll over a deer.
The work is carved from a single block of ivory, with the exception of the deer's antlers. Toshimasa (??) signature engraved under the base on a mother-of-pearl insert.
Period: Meiji, late 19th century.
Dimensions: 18 x 6.5 x 5 cm.
Condition: Excellent.
