A rare earthenware delivery cup with polychrome decoration of a swaddled child surrounded by two nursemaids and two putti framed on the wing by Raphaelesque motifs with cherubs, vases, grotesques, goats' heads and quivers.
The reverse is richly decorated in the centre with a love figure in yellow ochre standing on a mound holding a spear and shield surrounded by friezes of polychrome flower garlands and stylised flowers on a blue background.
