Pair of chiseled and gilded bronze pedestal tables. Tripod-shaped, with double columns, the solid mahogany structure supports a white veined red marble, set in a gallery. Louis XVI style after an 18th century model by Adam Weisweiler, our tables are late 19th century or around 1900 production, attributed to Maison Jansen.
Maison Jansen was founded in 1880. This great decorator has supplied royal and national palaces throughout the world since its inception and throughout the 20th century, promoting French taste.
Beautiful set, rare to find in pair and ideal to complete a neoclassical decor of the 18th or 19th century. Fine quality production, the bronzes are finely chiseled with golden patina, the belt is made of solid mahogany and not mahogany veneer! Very good general condition, the 2 marbles are intact, the two pieces of furniture cleaned by our cabinetmaker.
