Emile Gallé - Art nouveau “Ombelles” pedestal table

Superb solid walnut pedestal table, molded and openworked. It features a top with poly-lobed cut-outs, a recessed inlaid decoration of meadow-herbs on a walnut and rosewood background. The base is tripled on each side and linked by an openwork, inlaid spacer. The uprights are tripled at the top to illustrate the flower stem. Very fine cabinetwork and magnificent patina finish!
