These elegant stools were made in Piedmont, Italy, in the Neoclassical era, towards the end of the eighteenth century. Their structure is in carved wood and lacquered in shades of ochre and ivory white.
The band under the seat consists of linear carved frames, with geometric quadrangular and circular patterns near the corners. The legs are characteristic of the neoclassical style, with an inverted cone trunk and grooved. They originate from a circular capital and end with a half-sphere foot.

The stuffing in horsehair is original. They have been reupholstered recently.
