Large bronze mortar from the Montagut collection

Large apothecary mortar in brown patina bronze with two openwork handles depicting dolphins framing two friezes of flowers, one of them with birds and zoomorphic grotesque heads. The neck is inscribed ‘GUILLAUME BEAULIEU ANNO 1650’.
