Gilded wooden Liège stool from the Régence period. The carving is of high quality, showcasing both craftsmanship and aesthetic balance. The gilding is original (from the 18th century), executed using the "mixtion" or oil-based technique. The seat cushion is upholstered in blue and gold silk.
