Large pair of Louis XV style wall lights

Work from the early 19th century

Large pair of wall lights with three arms of light with rocaille decoration in chiseled and gilded bronze.

We can clearly find in this work, the very curved shapes of the Louis XV style. The scrolled acanthus leaves and flower-shaped candlesticks are all representations of this style.

Like great dancers, the branches intertwine joyfully and the leaves curl in a harmony of movements.

Thanks to the difference in techniques, smooth or engraved, the light does not reflect in the same way on the gilding, which allows for a very beautiful depth.
