Saint-Louis is the story of a crystal factory whose origins date back to the end of the 16th century, more precisely to 1586.
In addition to this birth certificate, two dates should be remembered. First of all, 1767 with the official name of Verrerie Royale de Saint-Louis, by letters patent of Louis XV.

The Grande Place Saint-Louis Crystal Museum was inaugurated in June 2007 and presents nearly 2,000 pieces resulting from crystal know-how.
A true place of memory, preservation and showcase of the know-how of Saint-Louis over the centuries, the museum is an architectural daring imagined by the Lipsky et Rollet agency installed in the very heart of the factory.
