This will be followed by an important series on boats, in particular large sailing training ships, including the Sagrès, the Amerigo Vespucci, and the Belèm, with a treatment of rigging with a well-defined line that borders on abstraction, not unlike his work over the years. from the 1960s. He perfected this very personal technique with another series on flowers, which enjoyed incredible success. We can actually speak of series to catalog the work of this artist, whose figurative subject is only a support for his vision of abstraction materialized on his canvases, this technique will allow him to make his works intellectually accessible, while guaranteeing them a real decorative effect, explaining its great success.
