Gilded copper vase, applied with Phoenix and Lions. China Qing dynasty 19th century or before.
Vase in embossed copper, gilded with mercury. Decor of Phoenix, clouds and sacred pearls also in embossed and riveted metal. On the sides the 2 handles are formed of Buddhist lion masks. The drawings are of good quality and the carvings are precise. Chinese work from the Qing period (late 17th, early 20th century) no mark, difficult to date precisely, probably from the Qianlong or Kia-King period, around 1800.
