A magnificent rare pair of gilt bronze and patinated bronze candelabra / centerpiece from France, circa 1850 .
Very elegant large figurative candelabra with orientalist Nubian figurative bronze. Charles Cumberworth (1811-1852) appears to have been born in the United States to an English father and a French mother. Cumberworth's style was inspired by his teacher, James Pradier, with whom he studied from 1829 to 1836. Stamp of the founder: Daubrée (Alfred Daubrée. Paris: 1817-1855) Dimensions: 88 x 44 cm
