A Lombardy Commode

A fruit wood, bone and nacre marquetry rare Lombardy commode. The commode is decorated with hunting scenes - lion hunting, deer hunting, wolf hunting and wild boar hunting. The curved shaped commode opens with three drawers. The top and the drawers of the commode represent itselves the type of hunting practiced by the aristocracy.
The manufacturing of this commode design was carried out in small quantity. Its rarity makes it a collector's item.
