A small Louis XV (1745-1749) period curved chest of drawers with two drawers and no crossbeam, inlaid with end wood flowers in rosewood and violet wood frames.
Finely chased and gilded bronze cartouches adorn the front and sides.
The mounts feature a crowned C.
It is topped with Breche d'Alep marble.
Stamped by I Dubois.
Jacques Dubois (1693-1763) was a cabinetmaker, received as Master in Paris on September 5, 1742.
Condition: old condition (marble repaired, old varnish in good condition, slight cracks and three small veneer chips).
