PRESENTATION GALLERY : Art Lux
The gallery specializes in 18th-century French furniture and objets d'art.
Nothing predestined Pierre-Olivier Chanel to become an antique dealer. Fascinated by the French 18th century from the age of twelve, he began practicing the profession when he was eighteen. In 1995, he opened a gallery in New York. In 2009, he settled in Paris with his wife Amandine, sharing with her the same passion for French art. She obtained a master's degree in art history at the Sorbonne and immediately after graduating, started working at the Wildenstein Gallery in New York. They will be delighted to share their passion, knowledge and new acquisitions with you at events organized in our new showcase, the Château d'Andelot, a stately home built in the 12th century at Andelot-Morval in the Jura. The château is located 1h15 from Lyon and Geneva. The gallery has a permanently large selection of several hundred pieces of furniture, objects and paintings.
