Louis XV Commode with espagnolettes

A superb commode tombeau inlaid with violet wood in four leaves.
It opens to four drawers on three rows.
Rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes with foliage decorations such as rosettes, handles, keyways, falls topped by busts of women wearing a pearl necklace for one and a scarf for the other, sabots and cul de lampe.
It retains its locks with their original keys.
Parisian work, Louis XV period.
Peach blossom marble top molded with a corbin beak.
Restored by an experienced cabinetmaker, stamped varnish.
