An important solid silver chased and gilt drinking cup by BOIN-TABURET in Paris.
The upper part of the bowl is decorated with cartouches alternating with garlands of flowers and foliage on an amati background of high quality chasing.
A chased band runs along the lower third of the bowl, which rests on a moulded pedestal decorated with a finely chased frieze of oves and interlacing.

Condition report :
Some superficial wear of time to the vermeil at the raised parts providing an interesting contrast but very fine condition and quality of the gilding.
