Haviland Manufacture 1926 - Service of 73 pieces in Limoges porcelain

Exceptional service of 73 pieces in Limoges porcelain from the Haviland factory.
Each piece is marked on the back, in gray ''Haviland France'', and in red ''Théodore Haviland Limoges France''.
The red color and arrangement of this last mark correspond to that registered by the factory in 1926 (Tardy Reference - French porcelain - page 127 - see attached photo)

Each piece is decorated with a gold fillet and a wide band of gilding inlays. We will notice the very beautiful quality of this very elaborate relief decoration, composed of friezes of rosettes, flowers and stylized arabesques.
These embossed precious metal inlays demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship carried out by hand. Long hours of meticulous work through at least eleven manufacturing steps are required to create these marvels.

This service includes:
- 36 large dinner plates
- 12 soup plates
- 12 dessert plates
- 1 tureen and its lid
- 1 vegetable bowl and its lid
- 1 large oval dish
- 1 small oval dish
- 1 large round dish
- 1 small round dish
- 2 ravines
- 1 sauce boat
- 1 deep round bowl
- 1 flatter round bowl
- 2 small round bowls

In the 1920s and 1930s, Th. Haviland Porcelain established itself on the luxury market. Even more than before the war, Limoges porcelain is valued, during major international exhibitions, as an artistic production.
