A book case in blackened wood and ebony, Boulle marquetry inlaid with brass filets, opening with two glass doors. The upper part, round headed, decorated with lambrequin motifs inspired by Bérain's cartoons. The furniture rests on a wide plinth decorated with filets, and a frieze of gilded bronze gadroons in high part, and a female figure in the center with two mascarons in the corners. The piece is topped with a large tray, hemmed with a molding, decorated with gilded bronze leaves, revealing two parallel registers depicting figures in antique style banquets.
