Rare pair of bookcases, in ebony and blackened pearwood veneer, inlaid with gilded brass fillets.
Of height of support, they open by two glazed doors underlined in their middle of a rush of brass. Rectangular tray overflowing at the corners covered with a square chiseled and gilded, surrounded by a rush of brass and the baseboard cut out with projection.
They are decorated with harmonious geometric figures in gilded brass nets on all sides. Cremones of closing in iron. Entrances of locks in gilded bronze.
Louis XIV period, end of the 17th century.
