Offered by Le jardin des Moines
Important element in solid oak as this preaching pulpit sky, restored by our workshop. The priest once preached his homily and gave his teaching from the flesh. It is today generally no longer used since churches benefit from a sound system.
At its center is the feeding pelican in Glory. A touching allegory of the Eucharist. The pelican symbolizes paternal love, the bird here piercing its chest with its beak in order to feed its young with its flesh and blood. By extension it represents Christic love.
It is particularly in its place on this pulpit sky which welcomes the Word.
Dimensions of 140 cm long by 100 wide and 19 cm deep.
