Gilded bronze chandelier circa 1800

A chiseled and gilded bronze chandelier, the basin decorated with a frieze of water divinities encircling a rosette of palmettes adorned with leaves and fruits, is equipped with eight armes of lights decorated with swans supporting the lights ; belt openworked with leaf friezes. It is connected by eight beaded chains to the upper bell bearing the "bélière" richly decorated with palmettes and flowers.
Northern European work circa 1800, early Empire period 19th century.
