Large "patalonnière" commode in rosewood and amaranth veneer, stamped Montigny, Louis XVI period.
Philippe-Claude Montigny (1734-1800), received his master's degree on January 29, 1766, was a talented cabinetmaker whose many works are exhibited in major museums (Louvre, Arts décoratifs de Paris, etc.).
Condition report: restored in our workshop in September 2023, perfect condition, scraps and handles added.
