Pair or couple of lion and lioness lying on a rocky terrace forming a pendant in La Rochelle earthenware with polychrome décor au naturel. A rocaille escutcheon sits between their front paws and bears the inscription "I.D.F.". These are the initials of the managing partners of the faience factory between 1773 and 1782.
Circa 1775, 18th century.
Length: 16.2 cm and heights: 10.2 cm and 11.2 cm.
Missing glaze.
