Large mahogany and mahogany veneer "à la psyché" toilet mirror, scrolled base, column upright, ormolu candlesticks decorated with snakes.
High-quality bronze supplied by a leading Parisian workshop. We find the same binnets on a pair of candelabra delivered by Thomire.
Empire-period Parisian work stamped P Marcion,
Pierre-Benoit Marcion was one of the main suppliers to the Crown under the Empire.
Condition report: Restored by our workshop in June 2023. Original glass, wear to gilding, missing teffeta covering the parquet flooring.
