This planter is made of mahogany and solid mahogany.
Its mahogany-veneered belt is highlighted by a fluted belt, one of the sides of which serves as a reservoir. The angles of the crosspieces, with projections, are also grooved.
It rests on four tapered and fluted legs ending in bronze sabots and carries an openwork gallery in gilded bronze.
The sheet metal tray, in good condition, has probably been redone.
Restoration of use and maintenance.
Work attributed to Joseph Canabas, received master in April 1766.
