Pair of Louis XV period corner cupboards

Pair of rosewood and rosewood marquetry corner cabinets. Each opens onto a symmetrically opposed door that opens onto a shelf.

Resting on small, nicely arched feet, the door features a slightly flattened rounding in its center, giving it elegance and demonstrating the cabinetmaker's technical mastery.

The furniture is adorned with chased and gilded bronzes.

The corners are topped with original Languedoc red marble (previously restored).

Parisian work of the Louis XV period circa 1760.
