Offered by Isabelle Chalvignac
A large mahogany and mahogany veneer console table, rectangular shape with a mirror back, supported by four fluted balustered legs connected by a mahogany shelf surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery.
It opens with a long drawer in the front; the white marble top is also encircled by an openwork gilt bronze gallery.
Beautiful ornamentation of chiselled and gilded bronzes: pearls, rosettes, handles of pulling, entries of lock, sabots.
Louis XVI period, Paris.
The quality of the cabinet making, the rarity of the shape of the feet, allow to attribute this piece of furniture to a great Parisian master cabinet maker, such as Garnier for example.
