Beautiful portico clock from the Directoire period in white marble richly decorated with gilded and chiseled bronzes.
The white enamel dial with Roman numerals rests on two sheath columns adorned with stylized palmettes, diamonds, plant motifs and rows of pearls.
The damping is adorned with a wreath of flowers from which spring two flower garlands.
The lower part of the dial is embellished with a refined interlacing of flowers, bunches of grapes and a knot.
Note the charming pendulum which takes the form of two butterflies facing each other and seeming to forage.
The whole rests on a white marble base decorated with palmettes and a laurel frieze in gilded and finely chiseled bronzes.
