These tazzas represent the god Pan and a nymph. Pan is shown with his flute and a horn, the dancing nymph, a tambourine at her hip and pottery at her feet. To create tazzas the bronzier (Picard) ordered the statues in canéphores by making them carry a basket of basketry. A square plinth is supported by acroteria in the form of rams' heads, reminiscent of the theme of these objects. The bronze works of Picard are of the fine quality of the time, here moreover the characters are of the level of the beautiful statuary by the drawing and a delicate and very detailed work.
