Paire de Porte Torchères Epoque Louis XIV

A pair of moulded and richly carved wooden torch holders in their original gilding.
The octagonal tray decorated with acanthus leaves is supported by a putto, standing on a cylindrical shaft decorated with mascarons among foliage.
The tripod base is strongly foliated and rests on claw feet.
Italian work from the end of the XVIIth century.
Very good condition.
