George Henry, a Scottish painter, made a deep impression on the Glasgow school and became a member of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1902.
Our charming study is treated with a lively and spontaneous touch as well as a mastery worthy of a quality artist. Indeed, an exhibition was dedicated to him in 2007 at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne. The paintings of this artist are present in public collections such as the museum of Edinburgh, Glasgow and also in Montreal.
