Rare ikki-ningy? (living doll) representing a yokai in the form of a small character with a large head.
The iki ningyo are the expression of a cultural phenomenon that began in 1852 with an exhibition in Osaka. We discover life-size characters, very dramatic and super realistic in scenes from mythology. These pieces, rare and highly collected, are increasingly difficult to find on the art market.
