Head of a young woman - Claude Goutin (1930-2018)

Original bronze proof patinated in a shade of brown red representing the bust of a young woman. Her features, almost only sketched, combined to the two plaits framing her face, realized from twisted lead sheets, characterizes the youth and delicacy of the figure. The sculpture stands on a cylindrical onyx base.

This sculpture was created around 1973-74.

This original bronze cast is one of the twelve legal exemplars realised from the original lead sheet sculpture created by the artist. A certificate from the Galerie Michel Giraud will be delivered under the agreement of the artist, who controlled the edition of this sculpture.
