Offered by Anne Besnard
This elegant solid mahogany table, slightly oval, is supported by six turned legs, the top has two flaps that fold down sideways, the legs end in bronze shoes and casters. It opens in the center to receive several extensions, the sliding system in oak is original. This table has just been completely dismantled, the slides checked one by one, and reassembled, it has just been varnished with a buffer, and its high quality mahogany is of a beautiful blond color. It can be opened to 250 cm to form a 400 cm long by 160 cm wide table top. One of them is made of solid mahogany and measures 160 cm x 51 cm, it has been varnished and can be left in place to form a very large oval tabletop, the other two are made of ordinary wood and measure 160 cm x 60 cm. The table could still support two additional extensions of 40 cm wide.
End of the 18th century.
Closed dimensions 160 cm x 148 cm, height 75 cm.
