The Van Blarenberghe family is a dynasty of miniaturist painters originating from French Flanders, but some of whose most famous descendants also lived in Paris. They were all descendants of Joris van Blarenberghe (1612-1670).
Henri Désiré is the son of Jacques and brother of Louis-Nicolas Van Blarenberghe.
