André Rozay (1913-1991) - Pair of cornucopias in sandstone - 50s Berry

Exceptional pair of sculptures with rounded bases, each with a character (putti) sat near a cornucopia. One with ibex feet, smiling, the headress surrounded by vine leaves and grapes running down the body. The other with its head slightly back, one arm raised holding grapes his pelvis also surrounded by leaves and grapes. Sandstone in shades of beige for the characters and nuanced brown tones for the cornucopias and the vine.

Unique pieces.

Each piece is signed « La Borne 1949 Rosay » on the back of the hollow part.
