French 18th century Commode with “Musical Instruments”

Elegant Transition chest of drawers called "sauteuse", with two drawers without crosspiece, from the 18th century.
The facade reveals an inlaid decoration, ordered in three large reserves decorated with ''Greek'' nets in rosewood frames.
The central reserve reveals a superb ''trophy of musical instruments'', symbolizing the art of music, where violin, drums, harp, sheet music, horn, trumpet... are intertwined, as well as plant motifs and ribbons.
The side reserves of the facade are embellished with a marquetry of cubes, decorations that can be found on the sides of the chest of drawers.
Different types of wood (rosewood, palisander, sycamore, lime, etc.) are used to perfect the elegance of the decor.
Gilded and chiseled bronzes (clogs, falls...) complete this ornamentation on the drawers, the uprights, the feet, as well as on the apron.
This charming chest of drawers rests on four generously curved legs, whose rounded front uprights are inlaid with rosewood reserves on a rosewood background.
It is topped with a formerly restored pinkish gray marble.
