18th-century and Empire French furniture, works of art and pictures
Each baluster-form vase decorated with a frieze representing Apollo with his lyre and surrounded by the nine muses with their symbolic attributes, with a pair of snake handles to the shoulders, the neck issuing two scrolled candle arms and a central spiral-twist-stem candle arm, with beaded socle and square base with palmettes, resting on a further square base and bun feet, each vase inscribed WEDGWOOD under the base.
