French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
Charming little case in red morocco, lined with 2 painted silks representing Napoleon, in which are stored 26 watercolor engravings representing scenes of Napoleonic battles.

None similar object is known today, some similar scenes (Badajoz and Waterloo) also in a round format are kept at the Getty Museum.

Condition report: very good condition, marks of glue residue on the edge of the engravings (formerly the engravings were bound together by a ribbon others)
