An exceptional gilded and carved wood bracket resting on four cambered legs, carved in their fall of head of satyr, connected between them by an inverted bracket carved with volutes, foliage, stylized decorated in its center by a sunflower. The interior of the feet is fluted. The console is highlighted by decorative motifs consisting of interlacing and four-lobed flowers. The facade is richly decorated with a crowned mascaron on a background composed of a mantling framed by volutes and stylized foliage. The whole is surmounted by sculptures representing motifs à la Bérain. The sides are carved in the same way as the façade.
The console is topped by a Belgian red marble.

A more than identical console is kept at the Palace of Versailles (inventory number: V4634). It is probably the same sculptor for both works.
