This gilt bronze clock represents a young mother, seated on a Directoire style chair, getting ready to give bread to her child.
The enamelled dial is signed by the Parisian watchmaker "Mesnil à Paris".
The plinth has an elegant decor with two children playing, one with a dog, the other with a cart.
On the uprights, we find other children holding exotic birds.
