It has a rich "Rocaille" ornamentation of gilded bronzes with shells, foliage, flowers, volutes, mascarons, dolphin heads ...
The console, also decorated with Boulle marquetry, is embellished with two female masks in gilded bronze.
A refined decoration of "paving in perspective" adorns the interior parquet.
At the top there is a charming putti holding the globe, accompanied by a goat.
The dial has enamelled cartridges with an attractive gilded bronze motif underneath representing a woman holding a mirror in one hand and a palm in the other (allegorical figure of "truth alone is enough")
The movement is signed, on the back and on the front in a cartouche, by the Parisian watchmaker Antoine Saint Martin, who became a Master around 1730-1750.
