A rare Louis XV perfume box
The rectangular box is veneered with kingwood. Inside is lined with blue silk and a small silver trim. It includes four cut glass bottles, two flasks with silver necks and stoppers, and silver saucer, beaker and funnel.
Silver parts are marked by Léonard Desbois active in Paris between 1725 and 1760, who seems to have been specialised in mounting elements of such necessaires.
